The website It’s All Lies is one out of many ways to look at the world. It is also a quest to be inspired. Something akin to what the author Arundhati Roy once wrote on a cafe napkin: “To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try to understand. To never look away. And never, never, forget.”
Admittedly, It’s All Lies is not the most trustworthy name in the world, but who would trust us if our name was “It’s All True”? And while we’re at it, there’s also the little issue of copyright, and here, too, our practice diverges somewhat from accepted norms.
