Have you ever had a great idea for an image or a slogan that you wanted to paint in a public place, but were to scared to do so, for fear of getting caught by the police? The Norwegian street artist Pøbel has heard your cries and has answered the call, recording a short video of himself demonstrating how to do exactly that.
In this 3-minute clip, Pøbel strolls through downtown Tokyo on the holiday of Halloween, when the streets are full of revelers dressed up in all sorts of crazy costumes. Wearing a costume himself, Pøbel approaches his chosen wall, unfolds a large sheet of carton behind him, and begins to etch out his artwork. When the stencil is finished, he simply folds the carton back up and carries on like nothing happened.
