My drawings get scrubbed away – this is a big part of my motivation

For years the American sidewalk artist David Zinn has been making people smile. He has been decorating the sidewalk of his hometown  with  three-dimensional drawings using chalk. According to the The Huffington Post, one of the main  motivations for Zinn is the knowledge that the work fade away and wash away with time “It’s a big part of the motivation: the freedom of knowing that what I’m creating will be scrubbed away by rain or feet in the near future, so there’s no need to worry about whether it’s good enough or important enough to exist.”
